My Alexa Earplay skill is crashing

There are a few known issues with the Amazon Alexa platform that might cause your Earplay skill to stop mid-story.

In most cases, you should be able to ask to start Earplay again and pick up exactly where you left off.

Check the following to make sure your Alexa is set up to avoid these kinds of issues:

• Make sure your Alexa's connection to Wi-Fi is strong and consistent.
• Ask Alexa to stop your music, radio, or other skill that may be running in the background.
  Any extra noise coming from your Alexa speaker may lower recognition quality and interfere with commands, even if you can't hear it.
