Setting up Google Assistant on a Phone

As of 2018, the Google Assistant app for your iPhone or Android can perform all the same actions as a Google Home device, including playing any of the Earplay stories. That means no matter what kind of phone you have, and whether or not you own a smart assistant, you can still access your Earplay account anywhere, any time!

The Google Assistant app is free to download and use. You can view Google's info page on the phone assistant here. The app store download page for Android phones can be found here, and for Apple iOS, here.

After logging into the app with your Google account as you would with any other Google service, you can ask it to "start Earplay" right away!
